Welcome to Sires Elementary School!
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am thrilled to welcome both new and returning families to Sires Elementary School. Sires is a special place where we are committed to building strong relationships, fostering a culture of belonging, and helping every student and staff member reach their fullest potential. This year, we will continue our journey of growth by focusing on meaningful data that promotes accountability and ownership among our students, families, teachers, and leadership team. Success begins with each of us, and together we will continue to achieve great things.
Our 2026–2027 theme is "Shine Bright!" Throughout the year, we will shine brightly in our classrooms, throughout our school, and within our community by ensuring every child and every adult feels valued, seen, and heard. We believe that when everyone is supported and empowered, our entire school community thrives.

At Sires, we GLIDE: Grow, Love, Inspire, Discover, and Excel.
A major focus this school year will be strengthening student growth, which measures the academic progress students make over time in English Language Arts and Mathematics. To support this work, we will begin a new initiative - Drop Everything and Data. During dedicated data conversations, students and staff will regularly review progress in reading, writing, mathematics, and behavior. These discussions will help students understand their goals, celebrate successes, and identify next steps for continued growth. Students will also participate in ongoing progress monitoring throughout the year, allowing teachers to make informed instructional decisions based on individual student needs. In partnership with our district content specialists, teachers will analyze student data, monitor academic growth, and implement targeted strategies that help every child succeed.
At Sires Elementary, we believe every student has the potential to grow, achieve, and shine. By working together—students, families,staff, and our community—we will create an environment where excellence is expected, growth is celebrated, and every child is prepared for a bright future.
